This is amazing
I don’t think there’s any reason to say that some people being incapable of figuring simple things out and computers as they are being too complicated are necessarily mutually exclusive. There’s definitely a 90% rule here that needs to be considered, namely that 10% of users aren’t going to get it no matter what. It’s hard for me to imagine a sufficient solution for someone who goes to ReadWriteWeb and posts in the comments “I WANT THE OLD FAFEBOOK BACK THIS SHIT IS WACK!!!!!”
It’s easy to read this and be cynical about “how dumb everyone is”. But there are some seriously deep issues to analyze here for anyone interested in HCI.
